Job Description

We're recruiting experienced CNC Machinists for a precision engineering business in Stewarton, manufacturing complex components for advanced industries. You'll set, program and operate CNC machines to manufacture components to tight tolerances, working both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Set, program and operate CNC machines with various control systems
Manufacture components to tight tolerances and specifications
Inspect first-offs and complete detailed inspection reports
Create and update setup sheets for new programs
Work with metals and plastics
Maintain quality, safety and housekeeping standards
Carry out basic machine maintenance

Requirements

Apprenticeship or HNC in Engineering, or equivalent
Minimum 3 years' CNC machining experience (turning or milling)
Online programming experience
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong knowledge of CNC machinery and processes
Experience in oil & gas is desirable
Good communication skills, with a flexible, reliable and proactive approach
