Are you an experienced CNC Machinist looking to join a busy precision engineering business?
We are recruiting for skilled individuals to support the manufacture of complex components for a range of advanced industries.
The Role
- Set, program and operate CNC machines (various control systems)
- Manufacture components to tight tolerances and specifications
- Inspect first-offs and complete detailed inspection reports
- Create and update setup sheets for new programs
- Work with a range of metals and plastics
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping
- Carry out basic machine maintenance
- Work both independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- Apprenticeship / HNC in Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years’ CNC machining experience (turning or milling)
- Online programming experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong knowledge of CNC machinery and processes
- Experience in oil & gas (desirable)
- Good communication skills
