Job Description
We're recruiting a Manufacturing Supervisor (also known as Production Team Leader) for a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Irvine. This is a Monday-to-Friday role with no weekend working required, operating a weekly rotational shift pattern between day shift and back shift. You'll lead a production team to deliver on daily targets and KPIs while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead teams toward daily production targets and key performance indicators
- Drive assigned process improvement projects
- Support continuous improvement aligned with quality and safety goals
- Maintain housekeeping standards using 5S principles
- Ensure proper equipment and workspace maintenance
- Coordinate with Safety, Logistics, Technical and Maintenance departments
Requirements
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma qualification preferred
- Continuous process production line experience advantageous
- Strong understanding of 5S and its operational impact
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Suited to an experienced Production Operator ready to step up, or a current Team Leader seeking career progression
