Job Description
We are supporting a leading aerospace business with the recruitment of a Quality Inspector to join their team at their Prestwick facility, where you will be responsible for routine inspections of aerospace/fuel control components in line with approved procedures. The package includes a 7.5% target quarterly bonus, 33 days' annual leave including public holidays, a 9% employer pension contribution, income protection and life assurance, private medical and dental cover following an eligibility period, and access to training, development and other employee benefits.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and assess products to ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements
- Accurately record inspection results and report any findings or issues
- Use basic technical inspection equipment and tools
- Follow established procedures, quality standards and operating guidelines
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider operation to support quality and delivery objectives
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and consistency
Requirements
- UK technical trade apprenticeship or equivalent aviation/aerospace qualification, or alternatively a minimum of 2 years' aeronautical experience
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- Comfortable working to defined procedures and quality standards
- Good technical communication and record-keeping skills
- Minimum age of 21 required due to aviation regulations
